CONSISTENCY AT THE FULCRUM

Have you ever wondered what sets successful people apart from those who struggle to achieve their goals? While there are many factors that contribute to success, one of the most important is the ability to consistently make good decisions.

The good doesn’t happen with one good decision, it is series of good decisions that you take. And a bad doesn’t happen with one bad decision, but with a series of bad decisions. This is the reason we, at times, get stuck in perpetual state of stagnation. We are just sabotaging our own efforts. Be greater than your circumstances and do not stop your flight!

A Moment of Reflection

Pain is the only thing that I feel
My heart aches so hard, I can’t even heal
Mom is ill and there’s no cure in sight
Oh why must I have to face this fight?

Pain of saying goodbye is all that I see
Would that I had just one more moment with thee
No matter what life throws my way
The image of you will still stay

It’s the darkest of days, hard to explain
It’s devastating to know I can’t take the pain
I wish so much for a miracle to take care
I’m so desperate, I’m left in despair

Pain of saying goodbye is all that I see
Would that I had just one more moment with thee
No matter what life throws my way
The image of you will still stay

Before you say goodbye I want you to know
That I will remember all that you do
Your love and compassion will last that lifetime
My heart will remain happy and entwined

Pain of saying goodbye is all that I see
Would that I had just one more moment with thee
No matter what life throws my way
The image of you will still stay

Dimensions of Life

This one I’m writing with an aching heart but a positive mindset. In my last article, I mentioned about my very strong belief if manifestation that really makes the difference in our psychology and eventually somewhere in the outcome also. In the similar way, I also believe that a strong and positive mindset to observe and absorb a difficult situation is a powerful arm to take hold of oneself as well as ease out the effects out of its outcomes. I consider these as ‘Dimensions of life’. The foremost if the physical dimension which reflects loving yourself and staying healthy now and in future. Followed by this is the intellectual dimension of maintaining the curiosity to value lifelong learning and expand your sphere of knowledge. Emotional dimension develops with utmost strength of our soul where one learns to manage his emotions in a very constructive way while also valuing the feelings of others. Contributing to our community builds our strength of social dimension of life. Above all, is to maintain the financial dimension by managing your resources to live within your means, making informal financial decisions and setting realistic goals. We have to be aware that everyone’s financial values, needs and circumstances are unique.

MANIFESTATION

This is one thing which I never believed in, till I actually felt the same. Again, it’s all about a positive mindset, it’s all about telling our mind that we need to stay positive, think positive and sieve positive out of all given situations and circumstances. Deliberate intend should be to create a magical life. Focus on the ‘what’ and the ‘why’, do not worry about the ‘how’. We have to give our minds a clear direction, and that’s when the ideas, inspiration and guidance flow through us and tell us how to move and what to perceive. It’s upon all of us to create our life into a beautiful painting, a masterpiece. This is not unrealistic. Think differently about your goals, open your horizons. If any one person can achieve this, then all of us can. All it also needs is patience. The magic may unfold to you over a year or 5 or 10.

Advanced Mindset

It’s a journey to cover from a Professional to an Authority with a thoughtful leadership and influence. This is a lot to do with one’s communication skills. It involved a lot of emotions more than our logic in our communication to enable us put our point forward accurately.  When we communicate with others, our communication is first received by the other person’s subconscious invisible filters.

Keeping an audacious goal in mind, it is important to always stay up and awake, keep burning the mid-night oils and keep oneself at an edge over a normal person. Personally, I have experienced that in order to achieve our audacious goals, our advanced mindset has to eliminate procrastination, overthinking on personal issues and removing laziness. Imbibe and implement your actions in no time, stand up and face today, carry your leadership with a grace, there is no harm in copying shamelessly and increasing your strength and most important is to learn to work less and get more outcomes!

Know who you are

Explore sustainable ways of career options in this Information Age

Till about very lately, we have always considered employment as the traditional employment or the traditional entrepreneurship. Having the academic knowledge and being able to earn, may not always mean that the person is an intellect. One has to come out of the binary terms of these thoughts. More avenues have opened and one has to know who you are and what is one’s capability. This horizon is larger than the academic zone. These traditional methods bring lack of creative independent thinking.

The Gen Z, the knowledge zenith age has given great power in hands of a common man. One should have the zeal and dedication to identify one’s capacity which is more than our academic area. This zenith age is the information age, which give series of more career options. This is called the ‘thought leadership’. This helps a person to convert idea to money. This could be a unique idea, an intellectual property of fresh methodologies which get monetized. One who possess these structured ideas, can greatly impact the market in all positive ways.

The ‘winning idea’ has to be the right combination of passion, skills and market demand. A way to find your passion is when you open your arms to think how and what you can give to the society, by creating a value in the market and trading it for money. Here, money is the by-product of the value that you create in the market. So, lets encourage this Gen Z to think outside this traditional square and encourage to being this change in the education and work systems. This is the way to bring a positive change in our economy as well as the social system.

Lies which are commonly accepted as the TRUTH

At times I get deeply get fascinated by human psychology.

As we observe social trends, are people really conscious about the choices that they are making? As I ponder over this, I realise that people at so many times accept the truth without ever questioning them! What we believe maybe a truth but at times it may not be. An opinion becomes a belief, it then becomes a culture, and then when passed to generations, it becomes a tradition. What possibly the masses think is the truth may rarely be one. A beautiful quote by George S. Patton “If everyone is thinking the same, it is quite possible, that no one is thinking.” It’s simple to follow each other, as we perceive security in numbers.

Happiness is everything-is it really? If something makes me happy, should I prioritise that, even over the needs of the society or the family or my responsibilities? Doesn’t sometimes character, ethics, morality and achievement a priority? If partying makes me happy, I do that very often without realising the long term effects of it!

Money isn’t important- we are lying to ourselves and diminishing the value of an important commodity. Its only said when one doesn’t have enough of it, it makes one feel good about saying so. People who don’t have enough money, aren’t always happy and suffer. By saying that they feel better about their own poor financial choices.

Everybody deserves the same- why should then a person learn to make any sacrifices? If all participants win the trophy, then where is the edge to that person who gave that extra push and ran that extra mile! This will bring down the productivity of a nation. A hard wired person should deserve more over others.

What we feel is the truth- may not be the fact. Things at many times are made up in head. We hate a person, think bad, but that may not be the truth. Our feelings can’t surpass the logical thinking. Don’t package your feelings as truth.

Education is academic- Only a professional and academic knowledge may not always be termed as knowledge. A person with tertiary and professional knowledge may not possess self-awareness, managing finance, emotional intelligence etc

There is no god- It is debatable divine intervention does exist. Where does our consciousness come from, why are we called social animals? Architecture, music, art, where do they come from?
